All in the Process
Collection of Study Models and Sketches
Sketching and study models are a great tool in figuring things out that would be more difficult to understand on a computer. Sketching is way to explore ideas, mark up notes, and remember experiences. Drawing and sketching is a fast way to figure things out through the iterative design process and helps to get an idea down quickly onto paper. Study models for me are essential for understanding the way in which things might go together. More importantly, it might be one of the first experiences with understanding and interacting a physically designed space. The quick iterative models help to build knowledge of the physicality of a space and to be able to quickly change directions and try something new.
